Rolex GMT Master

Rolex originally developed the GMT Master watch in co-operation with Pan Am Airlines in the 1950's, to allow their pilots to tell the time in two timezones on long-haul flights. Originally made in stainless steel only, but was expanded to other metals in the 1970s.

The GMT Master (and the GMT Master II) watch today is one of the iconic watches in the Rolex. The various two tone colour bezels affectionally known as Pepsi, Coke and Batman are still the most sought after by customers.
